Little Otter Swim Lessons offers in-home lessons as well as provides locations for you to bring your swimmer with heated pools all around the east bay. We have structured lessons that will work on your swimmers individualized goals which we set during the intake call or during the first lesson. These goals are adjusted accordingly as the swimmer progresses -- we check in with the swimmer (or the adult present) at the end of each lesson to go over progress, changing goals, and scheduling. At the end of every lesson there is a focus on water safety, this will prepare your swimmer for many circumstances around water, including an accidental fall-in.
We pride ourselves on being fun and safe within the water. Swimming is a life skill that we believe every person should have the access and ability to learn. Learning basic water safety can, and has, saved lives. We want your swimmer to not only be safe but to excel in the pool while having fun. Our program focuses on ensuring that your swimmer can be the best they can be. We work with all ages and levels of water comfortability and are happy to start at whatever level the swimmer is comfortable with.
The Little Otters program is different from all the rest because we individualize our lessons. We have standard lesson plans, but we have the ability to tailor our lesson plans to the individual swimmer due to the amount of people we let in each lesson. We keep our class sizes small so that we can give that individualized attention to each swimmer and have them achieve their goals faster.
